This will be exclusively a focal point for the alumni to network and plan their activities. The complex model is planned as a self sustainable business venture which will have revenue generating facilities – including a hotel with conference and accommodation facilities. The complex will provide ample parking space with beautifully landscaped lawns. It will be a place where the alumni will meet, relax and conduct their business. It will be a home away from home, a central point for meetings as alumni interact and chart way forward for various projects.  The complex will, therefore, be central to mentorship and role modeling to Machakos University staff and students – as senior alumni interact with the younger ones in areas of training, research and consultancy. It will also house library facilities for special collections, and archival resource materials as well as those that support e-learning and multimedia programmes.
